FRIED RICE MACADAMIA 
2/3 c. long grain rice
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 lb. bean sprouts
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 1/3 c. beef or chicken broth
1/3 c. chopped macadamia nuts (cashews or peanuts may be substituted)

1. In a large skillet, saute rice in butter until it begins to brown.

2. Add sprouts and onions. Continue sauteing until rice is well browned.

3. Pour in broth. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer 20 minutes without removing lid. Stir in macadamia nuts before serving.
