STRAWBERRY TRIFLE CAKE | |
1 lg. angel food cake (I bake mine from a mix) 2 pt. sweetened strawberries (may use 3 boxes of frozen) 1 lg. pkg. strawberry Jell-O 1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 c. hot water Dissolve Jell-O in 1 cup hot water. Add berries. Set aside. Mix three-fourths of the Cool Whip and condensed milk together. Cut cake into pieces. Use one-half of the cake and layer with berry-Cool Whip-condensed milk mixture. Repeat. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Garnish with fresh strawberries if you desire. Note: Use a trifle bowl or large glass bowl. |
