TRADITIONAL LEMON BARS 
1 c. flour
1/3 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs, beaten
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. lemon rind, grated
1 capful lemon extract
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. flour

Cream flour, powdered sugar and butter together. Spread in 8"x8" glass baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Beat remaining ingredients together and pour over baked mixture. Return to oven for 30 minutes or until custard is set. Loosen edges when removed from oven. Let set for 10 minutes; cut in squares. Remove and dust with powdered sugar. Makes 16 bars. Will freeze.
