FRIED CORNBREAD 
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 c. reg. white cornmeal
1 tbsp. sugar
Hot water
2 c. oil

Sift together all cornmeal and flour and sugar. Mix with very hot tap water. Drop by spoonfuls into very hot oil. Brown and take out. Don't turn over and over.
