PUMPKIN PIE CAKE | |
1 (6 oz.) can pumpkin 1 lg. can evaporated milk 1 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. sugar 4 eggs 2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice 1 pkg. yellow cake mix 2 sticks (1 c.) butter (melted) 1 c. chopped pecans Grease 9 x 13 glass baking dish. In mixer bowl, combine pumpkin, milk, salt, sugar, eggs and pumpkin pie spice. Mix well and pour in baking dish. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top of pumpkin mix. Evenly pour melted butter over the cake mix. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top. Bake at 325 degrees until done about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Serve warm with Cool Whip or ice cream if desired. |
