CORN FLAKE COOKIES 
1/2 c. salad oil
1 1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
3 c. confectioner's sugar
3 c. corn flakes

Soften butter, add oil, sugar and vanilla. Beat. Add flour and beat. Stir in corn flakes. Divide into 4 logs. Wrap in wax paper and foil. Chill for 12 hours. Cut into 1/4 inch slices and put on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes several dozen.
