DROP BISCUITS 
2 c. sifted flour, enriched
3 tsp. double-acting baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. Crisco
1 c. milk

Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in bowl. Cut in Crisco with 2 knives or pastry blender. Mix until looks like coarse meal. Add milk and stir until blended. Drop from a spoon onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 425 degrees, about 12-15 minutes. Makes 16 biscuits. If you prefer little round biscuits, use muffin pans.
