1 med. apple, pared, cored and sliced (3/4 c.)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (31 oz.) can pork and beans in tomato sauce
6 oz. smoked sausage links, thinly sliced
1/4 c. raisins
2 tbsp. catsup
2 tsp. prepared mustard
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Dash cayenne

In a small saucepan, cook apple and onion in small amount of boiling water for about 5 minutes or until crisp and tender, drain.

In large mixing bowl stir together cooked apple and onions, beans, sausage, raisins, catsup, mustard, cinnamon and cayenne. Put in 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 1 - 1 1/4 hours stirring once. Serves 8.
