1/2 c. butter or Crisco
1 lg. or 2 sm. onions, diced
2 c. cooked spaghetti
1 1/4 lbs. hamburger
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
1 1/2 cans tomatoes
3/4 c. grated longhorn cheese

Saute onions, brown hamburger (drain). Cook spaghetti until tender. In a casserole dish, make a layer of spaghetti, meat and onions, another of spaghetti. Pour tomatoes over all. Then pour meat drippings over all. Cover with grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes with lid on casserole. Take lid off and continue to bake until golden brown.
