PECAN RAISIN CAKE | |
1/2 lb. butter 2 1/2 c. sugar 4 c. plain flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 6 eggs 3/4 c. milk 1 box raisins 1 qt. pecans Sift together flour, soda and salt. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Mix in milk and 1/2 of flour alternately. Mix remaining flour with pecans and raisins. Add to cake batter. Grease and flour a tube cake pan. Pour batter into pan. Bake at 250 degrees for 3 hours. |
