MARINATE SAUCE 
1 c. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
20 pepper beans
3 bay leaves
4 garlic cloves
4 med. onions, cut in rings
2 c. olive oil
1/2 c. ketchup sauce

Combine in a flat kettle all ingredients except onions. Cook on low heat for 20 minutes. Add onions and cook for 10 more minutes; let cool. It can be used for fish or to pour over cooked vegetables.
