ALMOND LEMON SQUARES 
1/2 c. flour
2/3 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. lemon rind
2 egg yolks
Milk on top after in pan

TOPPING:

1/2 c. chopped almonds
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Sift flour. Add butter, 1/2 cup sugar, lemon rind and egg yolks. Blend until crumbly and moist. Pat into 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Brush with milk. Chop almonds, mix with cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar. Sprinkle over dough. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. When slightly warm cut into squares.
