1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1 sm. onion
1 egg
3/4 c. milk

Mix together. Drop by tablespoon in hot cooking oil. When brown on one side, turn over and brown the other side. Good with fish.
