ANGEL BISCUITS 
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 c. plain flour
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. lukewarm water
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. shortening

Soften yeast in water; set aside. Measure and sift dry ingredients together cut shortening into mixture. Add milk and yeast; stir until well blended. Store in refrigerator.

Roll dough 1/2 inch thick; cut with biscuit cutter. Let rise for 1 hour. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes or until brown.
