CHUCK WAGON SOUP 
2 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. butter
2 med. potatoes
2 sm. turnips
2 onions
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
4 c. water
1 lg. can tomato juice
1 c. cheddar cheese, grated
2 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables

Brown crumbled beef in butter. Remove from heat. Cook cut up potatoes, onions, and turnips in water in a large pot. Add tomato juice and frozen vegetables. Add meat and simmer all together for 2 hours. Add cheese and continue to simmer until cheese melts. Add hearty, easy and family pleasing soup. Serve with sour dough.
