I grill meat only! This is my first attempt at cooking anything in the oven. The roast I used was about 4 lbs. and I omitted the steak sauce as I don't care for it. I quartered the spuds, used baby carrots, quartered a white onion and added celery. One packet of Lipton's onion soup mix and a can of cream of mushroom plus a quarter can of water. I checked it at 2.5 hours and it wasn't quite ready...checked again at the 3 hour mark and it was done. I CAN COOK!! Ha! Ha! This was very, very good and I will make it again and again. Was my wife ever amazed when she got home from work! I was told to write down whatever I did so we can repeat this dish. Thanks for a great supper! Larry B. in Minnesota.
