EASY MUFFINS | |
2 c. flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1 egg, lightly beaten 3 tbsp. melted Crisco 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 c. milk 1 c. blueberries (for blueberry muffins) Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In bowl, combine dry ingredients. Stir together egg, milk and Crisco. Add this all together to the dry ingredients mixing briskly until just mixed. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Makes 1 dozen. To make blueberry muffins, add the blueberries, folding them in slightly just before you fill the muffins tins. |
