SOFT CARAMEL CORN 
Popped corn (not microwave)
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. light Karo syrup
2 sticks butter
Pecans

Pop 1 cup of popcorn. Mix together sugar, syrup and butter. Boil 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Check by dropping some drops in glass of cold water. Ready if forms a soft ball. Pour over popcorn in large bowl and mix thoroughly. Add pecans, if desired. NOTE: Do not overcook syrup or it will harden too much. Better to underocook. Great snack.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
