SOUR CREAM TORTILLA CASSEROLE 
1/2 lb. chopped onion
1 lb. ground beef or turkey
1 can (1 lb. 12 oz.) tomatoes
1 pkg. chili seasoning mix
2 tbsp. taco sauce or salsa
1 box tostada shells
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated or sliced
2 c. dairy sour cream
1 tsp. seasoned salt
Seasoned pepper

Brown beef or turkey; drain. Add 1/2 cup onions. Add tomatoes, seasoning mix and taco sauce. Simmer 15-20 minutes. Pour 1/2 cup sauce in bottom of 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Arrange 4 tostada shells over sauce. Top with 1/3 of sauce, onions and cheese. Repeat procedure twice making 3 layers of shells (last layer will use only 2 shells).

Combine sour cream and seasoning salt. Spread over casserole to edge of dish. Sprinkle lightly with seasoned pepper. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes until bubbling. To serve, cut in squares. Makes 10-12 servings.
