LOVE LIGHT 2 EGG CHIFFON CAKE 
2 eggs, separated
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. double acting powder
1/3 c. Wesson oil
1 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. flavoring (vanilla)

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease generously and dust with flour - 2 round 8 inch pans. Beat egg whites until frothy. Gradually beat in 1/2 cup of sugar. Continue beating until stiff or glossy.

In another bowl sift remaining sugar, flour, salt and baking powder. Add oil, half of milk, egg yolks and flavoring. Beat 1 minute at medium speed on mixer. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl constantly. Add remaining milk. Beat 1 more minute scraping bowl constantly. Fold in meringue. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
