PIE CRUST 
3 c. plain all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 egg, beaten
5 tbsp. cold water
1 tbsp. vinegar

Sift all-purpose flour and salt together. Blend in shortening. Mix egg, water, and vinegar. Mix in flour mixture until dough makes a ball. Divide into 2 ball. Flatten a ball and roll out to a circle on floured board to fit pie pan. Prick sides and bottom of dough.

Bake 425°F for 15 minutes.

Makes 2 pie crusts.
