HAWAIIAN HOT DOGS 
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 tbsp. shortening
1/3 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
1/4 c. catsup
1/8 tsp. chili powder
8 frankfurters
8 frankfurter buns

Cook onions and green pepper in hot fat until tender. Stir in pineapple juice, catsup and chili powder. Bring to boiling. Slash franks diagonally and simmer in sauce for about 15 minutes. Place on buns. Serves 8.
