CHILI CON CARNE 
2 lbs. ground round steak
2 tbsp. butter
2 green peppers
1 or 2 onions, sliced
2 cans kidney beans
1 can tomatoes or tomato soup
2 or more tbsp. chili powder
Salt & pepper to taste

Brown meat in butter. Add peppers and onions, cooking until onions are soft. Add beans, tomatoes and seasoning. Simmer 30 minutes. Serve while hot on toast, crackers or just plain.
