MERINGUE DESSERT | |
25 Ritz crackers, crushed into crumbs 1 c. chopped walnuts 1 tsp. vanilla 3 egg whites 3/4 c. sugar 1 c. whipping cream, whipped Coconut Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar a little at a time and continue beating until consistency of seven minute frosting. Add vanilla. Fold in cracker crumbs and nuts. Bake in 9 inch square greased pan for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Spread whipped cream on top and sprinkle with coconut. Refrigerate. Serve after 4 hours. |
