CHINESE ALMOND COOKIES 
These are better than fortune cookies!

Cream together:

1 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt

Add:

2/3 c. finely chopped almonds
1 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 2/3 c. flour

Mix well. Chill. Shape into 48 small balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Press each to 1/3 inch thickness. Bake in 350 degree oven for 18 minutes until lightly browned. Makes 4 dozen.
