GRAMPY'S CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
Fresh sweet potatoes, 1 per person
Approx. 1/2 c. butter, melted
Approx. 1/2 c. granulated sugar
Butter for saute

Boil sweet potatoes, peel and cut in halves lengthwise. Dip potatoes in melted butter, then roll in sugar. Melt approximately 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet. Saute sweet potatoes until sugar is caramelized.
