BEEF STEW POT 
2 lb. round steak, cut in 1" cubes
3 tbsp. flour
Salt & pepper
1/4 c. oil
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic (or garlic powder)
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1 c. mushroom buttons, drained
1 can tomato sauce
1 c. red wine (opt. or use beef bouillon)
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. sour cream

Flour, salt and pepper cubes. Brown in oil. Add all remaining ingredients except sour cream. Place in Dutch oven with lid, bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. If you allow to simmer in slow oven longer, meat will be more tender. Can be baked a day before (even better). When ready to serve, remove meat from gravy, if too thin a gravy allow to cook down a little. Add sour cream when gravy is no longer boiling. Blend in well, add meat. Serve with wide buttered noodles, a nice green salad and hot bread. Serves 6.
