1 c. flour
1/2 c. non-iodined salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1 c. water

Mix together all ingredients in pan. Boil 2 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Knead several times. Food coloring can be added while cooking or kneaded in later. Store in tightly covered plastic container.
