CHOCOLATE MAYONNAISE CAKE 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
1 c. cold water
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, soda, salt, sugar, cocoa until well blended in mixing bowl. Add mayo, water and vanilla. Beat well by hand or with mixer for 5 minutes. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 to 60 minutes until it tests done with a toothpick in center. Turn loaf out to cool on a rack. (You might try adding 1 teaspoon cinnamon to the flour.) Makes 16 slices.
