SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
3 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 tbsp. bell pepper
4 tbsp. onion chopped well
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. Worcestershire
1 qt. oysters with liquid
Buttered bread crumbs

Melt butter; add flour and cook 5 minutes until dark brown stirring constantly. Add paprika, salt and pepper. Cook 3 minutes and add bell pepper, onion and garlic (1/2 teaspoon crushed). Cook slowly 5 minutes and remove from heat; add lemon juice/Worcestershire sauce. Add oysters with liquid. Pour into baking dish and top with bread crumbs. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
