CONGO SQUARES 
1 (1 lb.) box brown sugar
2 3/4 c. flour
3 eggs
2/3 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1-2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Beat eggs; add sugar, oil and vanilla. Stir in flour. (Batter will become very stiff.) Add chocolate chips and nuts. Pour into greased oblong (9x13) pan. Bake at 300 degrees for approximately 50 minutes.
