SNOWFLAKE CAKE 
Makes a 3 layer very special cake.

3 c. sifted flour
2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
4 whole eggs
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Sift dry ingredients together and alternately with 1 cup milk. Put into 3 greased and floured 9" pans.

Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees.

SEVEN MINUTE ICING FOR SNOWFLAKE CAKE:

3 egg whites, in top of double boiler, 2 qt. size
1/2 c. water
2 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/8 tsp. salt

Beat over heat until it stands in stiff peaks.
