VANILLA CREAM PIE 
2 c. milk
1/2 c. cornstarch
1-1/3 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg yolks
1 c. cold milk

Mix cornstarch, sugar, eggs, salt, vanilla and cold milk. Pour in scalded milk. Stir constantly until thick. Remove from heat and let cool, then pour into a baked pie shell. Serve with whipped topping.
