1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white Karo
2 egg whites
Pinch of cream of tartar
1/2 c. boiling water
Pinch of salt
1/2 c. walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil sugar, Karo, and water together until forms hard ball. Spoon slowly into beaten stiff egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt. Add walnuts and vanilla.
