CHOCOLATE KISSES 
2 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch salt
1 c. broken pecans (optional)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat egg whites until stiff. Blend or beat in sugar, add vanilla and salt. Fold in pecans and chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto shiny side of foil on a cookie sheet. Put cookies in oven, turn off heat and leave overnight, approximately 8 hours or more. If too sticky, leave out in air to dry.
