TACO SALAD 
1 head lettuce, shredded
8 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tomato, chopped
1 slice onion, chopped fine
1 sm. can black olives (optional)
1 (12 oz.) bag nacho cheese taco chips, broken into sm. pieces
1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. Ortega taco seasoning mix
1 (16 oz.) bottle Catalina dressing

Combine lettuce, cheese, tomato, onion, olives, if desired, and taco chips. Set aside. Brown meat. While browning, add taco seasoning mix. Drain meat and let cool. Add meat and salad dressing to salad just prior to serving.
