CHICKEN BISCUIT STEW | |
2 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp. pepper and salt 1/2 c. milk 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth 1 1/2 c. cooked chicken 1/3 c. chopped onion 1 can green peas, drained 1 can carrots, drained 1 can buttermilk biscuits Preheat oven to 375°F. Melt butter in iron skillet. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually add milk and broth, stirring until bubbly. Add chicken, onion, peas and carrots. Cook 1 minute. Remove from heat. Top with biscuits. Cook in oven until biscuits are done. |
