CRUNCH CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers

BATTER:

1 box yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1 box instant lemon pudding
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. salad oil

Make topping. Press into tube pan or 2 loaf pans, press against sides and bottom. (Grease generously with butter first.) Pour prepared batter in and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Turn out of pan immediately so topping won't stick to pan. Freeze well.
