FREEZER SLAW | |
2 head cabbage, chopped Cover with 1 heaping teaspoon salt and let stand 1 hour. Squeeze out all juice. Chop 3 sticks celery and one large green pepper, set aside, then mix with cabbage. Boil 2 cups sugar, 1 cup vinegar, 1 teaspoon celery seed and 1 teaspoon mustard seed. Boil 1 minute. Pour over cabbage, freeze. |
