CHICKEN WITH ALMONDS 
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
Flour
1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) chicken, cut into serving pieces
1 c. sliced almonds
1/2 c. vegetable oil

Beat egg lightly with milk, salt and pepper. Dip chicken pieces in flour, then into egg mixture. Roll in almonds. Pour oil into a shallow pan. Arrange chicken pieces in pan, skin side up. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Basting twice. Serves 4.
