ICE BOX FRUIT CAKE 
1/2 box raisins
1 (16 oz.) pkg. dates
1 (16 oz.) pkg. figs
4 slices candied pineapple
1 pkg. marshmallows
2 sm. boxes candied cherries
2 c. chopped pecans
Peel of 1 fresh orange
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. cream
4 c. graham cracker crumbs

Cut raisins, dates, figs, candied pineapple, and candied cherries into small pieces and then mix well. Pour lemon juice over mixture and add finely chopped fresh orange peel. Roll or grind graham crackers to produce four cups of crumbs. Quarter the marshmallows and add cream in a saucepan; cook over slow heat until blended, thick, and creamy. Mix in graham cracker crumbs into fruit mixture, then add the creamed mixture. Press into a lined loaf pan; keep in refrigerator for a couple days before serving. Wrap in aluminum foil and store in refrigerator until all has been served.
