CHINESE SALAD 
1 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce

INGREDIENTS FOR TOPPING:

1 stick butter
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1/2 bottle sesame seeds, lg. size
2 pkgs. Ramen noodles, crushed (I have found that my kinds like Chinese noodles better - 6 oz. size)

SALAD:

1 head Chinese cabbage, torn
6 scallions, chopped

Prepare salad dressing, stir until sugar is dissolved. Melt butter and brown the remaining ingredients for topping. Prepare salad -- pour on salad dressing and sprinkle on topping.
