BEEFY ACORN SQUASH 
2 med. acorn squash
4 slices bacon, diced
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. onion, chopped
1-2 tbsp. milk
1/4 c. potato chips, c rushed

Cut squash in half lengthwise, remove seeds. Bake cut side down in shallow pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until tender. Fry bacon, add beef, onion, 1/2 teaspoon salt, dash of pepper. Cook until meat is browned. Pour off excess fat. Remove squash from shells. Set shells aside. In small mixing bowl, whip squash with 1/2 teaspoon salt, adding milk as needed to make mixture fluffy. Combine with meat mixture and return to squash shells. Top with crushed potato chips. Continue baking at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Serves 4.
