GLAZED ACORN SQUASH RINGS 
1 lg. acorn squash
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. melted butter
1/4 c. orange juice
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. lemon rind, grated

Slice squash cross wise (trim ends first) into 1/2" slices. Remove any seeds and membrane which cling to slices. Place slices in a greased casserole 9"x13" or larger. Add orange juice and lemon juice. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. Combine remaining ingredients and cook slowly to simmer, and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour over squash. Bake, uncovered for 15 minutes. Baste every 5 minutes.
