2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. melted Crisco
1 c. milk
4 c. sifted flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
Crisco for deep frying

Mix first 8 ingredients and drop 1 tablespoon at a time in hot Crisco and deep fry.
