HAM PUFFED PASTRY 
Oven at 375 degrees. Bake 10-12 minutes. Yields: 3 dozen.

1/2 c. stick butter, softened
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. flour

Combine cheese and butter, mix thoroughly, cut in flour and form into a ball, like pie pastry. Chill for 1 hour. Roll out dough about 1/4 inch thick, cut into rounds with a 2 1/2 inch scalloped cutter or glass.

FILLING:

1 c. finely diced ham
1/4 c. finely diced celery (use inner ribs)
1 tbsp. minced parsley
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. tartar sauce
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Combine all ingredients. Place 1/2 teaspoon of filling on pastry rounds, moisten edges, fold over, press edges together. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes, lightly brown, do not burn.
