EVERYDAY BISCUITS 
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. Crisco
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk

Mix flour, salt and baking powder. Cut in Crisco until mixture resembles corn meal. Stir in milk. Let stand approximately 1 minute. Knead a few times on a floured board. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter. Place on greased baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees until light brown. Baking time varies with size and thickness of biscuits. Makes approximately twelve 2 inch biscuits.
