COUNTRY BEEF PIE 
2 c. tomato sauce
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. chopped onions
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano
1 1/3 c. minute rice
1 c. water
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Crust: Combine 1/2 cup tomato sauce, bread crumbs, chopped onions, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, pepper, ground beef, chopped green pepper and oregano. Pat mixture into bottom and sides of 9 inch pie plate (greased).

Filling: Combine rice, water, remaining tomato sauce, Cheddar cheese and remaining salt together. Spoon mixture into the meat shell.

Cover with foil and bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake 10-15 minutes longer.
