NO-MIX CHERRY PINEAPPLE NUT CAKE | |
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in syrup 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling 1 pkg. yellow cake mix (2 layer size) 1 c. chopped pecans 1 stick (1/2 c.) butter Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9 x 13 baking pan. Spread pineapple with syrup in the pan. Spoon pie filling evenly over pineapple. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over mixture, then the chopped nuts over all. Slice the chilled butter in thin slices and put evenly over the other ingredients. Bake 50 minutes or until golden. Serve warm. |
