OLD FASHIONED COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. brown sugar (packed)
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. cooking oil
1 egg, beaten
1 c. buttermilk (Mix together 1/4 c. vinegar & 3/4 c. milk)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
Chopped pecans

Heat oven at 350 degrees. Mix brown sugar, flour, salt, sugar and oil together. It will be crumbly. Reserve 1 cup of this mixture. To the rest of mixture add egg, buttermilk, baking soda, nutmeg and cinnamon. Beat until well mixed. Pour into a nongreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Top with crumb mixture. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top. Bake 30 minutes or until done.
